We offer an exciting and developing position as part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team focusing on support to the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). The main part of your time will be dedicated to raw materials and polymer materials (various classes e.g., polyolefins, fluoroplastics, other thermoplastics or elastomers) used in the manufacturing process of APIs.
Tasks related to raw materials involves assessment of critical parameters to ensure product (API) quality and various activities related to implementation of new raw materials in the production. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to evaluate the suitability and compatibility of polymer materials through scientific input and through extractables and leachable studies. You will also be responsible for evaluation of residual solvents. A part of your responsibilities will be to stay in close contact and collaborate with various external stakeholders such as material suppliers, logistics services etc, to ensure product quality and stable production. Your stakeholders will also include multiple different experts within Novo Nordisk. You will collaborate with your internal stakeholders on complex issues to ensure proper scientific evaluations in our documentation packages. Qualifications
You hold a master’s or PhD degree in a science related discipline such as engineering, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy. In addition, to be successful in this role, we like to see the following experience/trait within the candidate: Experience or interest in raw materials and polymer materials Coordinating tasks within a large project with many different stakeholders Excellent communication skills and proficiency in both spoken and written English Great collaboration skills, structured, have a natural sense of priority and not afraid to set direction A team-player who enjoys cross-functional, cross-departmental and stakeholder collaboration About the department
The department API Manufacturing Development (MDev) Process support consists of 80+ colleagues organised in 5 teams. Our primary objective is to support the production facilities in Kalundborg and US. Your new team is situated in Bagsværd and we enjoy social interaction through breakfast on Mondays, coffee breaks and joint lunch on Fridays. The position is office based, but we do offer some flexibility by working from home, if the task at hand allows it. Working at Novo Nordisk
