We are looking for a Sales Forecasting Lead to join a newly created sales forecasting centre of excellence in Novo Nordisk International Operations Strategic Operations (IO-SO) with a position based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This newly created position is your entry into a dynamic environment, offering an outstanding opportunity to drive significant business impact and shape the future of performance forecasting in Novo Nordisk. You will gain broad insights into Novo Nordisk world-wide business and collaborate with affiliate and regional business finance teams across geographies.
You will be reporting to Director of IO Sales Forecasting and will join a diverse project team of passionate professionals, together shaping and driving IO-wide implementation of the new digital sales forecasting solution. You will be anchored within the greater department of Digital Finance & Architecture based in Copenhagen, offering opportunities for further cross-functional collaboration and heightened professional and individual development.

In this exciting role, you will join a dynamic IO Sales Forecasting Project Team, responsible for implementation, shaping, roll-out, and training of the new digital sales forecasting solution across IO affiliates.

Qualifications
You have decided to apply for this role because you are a finance professional with 2-4 years of experience in financial planning or data analytics, ideally at an affiliate or consolidation levels.
You likely have a Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Throughout your education and professional experience, you have developed outstanding analytical and coordination skills, combined with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a structured approach to your task.
You possess excellent financial modelling capabilities and have a conceptional understanding of market and sales forecasting processes. You likewise have an aptitude for data visualisation and have been exposed to (or have a strong interest in) business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI).
You have had the opportunity to prepare and/or present complex financial analysis to non-financial colleagues and expressed operational strategies though their financial impacts.
You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment, have a strong cultural understanding and exceptional communication skills, with high command of written and spoken English. You pride yourself in your ability to make the complex simple and your personal drive, self-motivating ability, and positive mind-set.

The Position

As the Sales Forecasting Lead you will:
- Be part of driving the standardisation, digitalisation, and continuous improvements of sales forecasting practices in affiliates.
- Act as the first point of contact for affiliate FP&A teams, ensuring strong collaboration and partnering on the implementation, integration, and further development of forecasting solution to fit the local market needs.
- Develop market and sales forecasting archetype models for IO affiliates across Novo Nordisk therapy areas.
- Help identify and drive efficiencies, improve existing forecasting frameworks, and elevate capabilities for market and financial modelling across geographies.
- Drive ideation, creation, and further development of sales forecasting data visualisation suite for affiliates (e.g., in Power BI).
- Provide regular status updates, recommendations, and key insights from affiliates to relevant stakeholders across the organisation, including senior management.
