The position We are looking for a Project and Service Portfolio Manager who are willing to have a steep learning curve within the area of facility management. Our current project and service portfolio includes projects and contracts of significant size and complexity. You are given the responsibility of driving governance and portfolio tasks in 4 departments across Facilities & Workplace: • Proactively drive and manage our 5-year project pipeline • Prepare Corporate Facilities project prioritisation meetings in close collaboration with our finance partner and project department managers • Challenge business cases, project scopes and project objectives to ensure these are of high quality • Support project managers in producing high quality material for investment portfolio meetings • Maintain constant overview of specific large investment budgets and keep track of actual cost data and re-forecasting of expected total costs • Drive monthly review meetings related to physical site infrastructure capacities (Red flag meeting) • Reporting on critical service contract status with full transparency on related risks and mitigating actions • On ad hoc basis support management team in Facilities & Workplace Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role you are bringing:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience within portfolio management, project governance or other relevant academic work • Completed a degree such as bachelor’s and master’s degree within engineering, finance or other relevant academic profession • Result-oriented and systematic mindset • Ability to apply creative solutions to solve business challenges, to develop new ideas and to gain buy-in from stakeholders • Flexibility to handle rapid change and multiple tasks at once • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in Danish and English, both orally and in writing is necessary for interacting with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform, and influence outcomes • Ability to set directions and deliver results in own role which have a significant impact across the director area • Knowledge of the Danish construction and/or facility management industry will be an advantage
On a personal level, you are very trustworthy, a team player and have flair for stakeholder management as you will be in daily contact with a wide range of colleagues across the organisation. You have excellent planning skills and are used to work in a structured manner with an agile and proactive mind-set even when the tasks become complex, and you experience some resistance. About the department We are around 250 employees in Corporate Facilities (CFa) based in Bagsværd, Hillerød, Måløv and Kalundborg, managing ~2500 external employees. We drive strategic facility management in Denmark and are responsible for safeguarding, sustaining and continuously optimising Novo Nordisk property and delivering services to our 20.000 Danish colleagues. You will report directly to the Director of Facilities & Workplace and work with tasks and processes across 4 departments and you will get in daily dialogue with a large number of great colleagues with different professions e.g. project managers, engineers, architects, service coordinators etc. In Facilities & Workplace we deliver facility projects, facility services, space management, site-planning and other core facility management disciplines. The environment is relaxed and welcoming.
