The Position You will provide tax support to our Strategic Sourcing organisation within Product Supply by:
  • Partnering with the business providing solution-oriented tax advice to support the sourcing and supply chain processes
  • Standardising the tax operating models as we are expanding, and consequently, the complexity of our business is increasing
  • Actively be contributing to process improvements within your scope of work
  • The position will be one-point of contact between the Strategic Sourcing organisation and Corporate Tax. Hence you must have a broad tax knowledge within both direct and indirect taxes, and you must know when you can handle the task yourself or need to seek support from your dedicated colleagues in Corporate Tax within different areas of specialty. The job will be based out of HQ in Bagsværd, Denmark. 3 days a week you will be working with the Strategic Sourcing organisation and 2 days with your colleagues in Corporate Tax. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree within tax, business law, finance or similar relevant education
  • Proven track record working in a broad range of tax aspects such as corporate income tax, international tax, VAT, and customs duties from private and public sectors
  • Knowledge about legal requirements within the tax legislation
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills
  • You possess excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills, and well-founded documentation practices. You are known for your integrity and your strong interpersonal skills enabling you to create trust with your stakeholders. You have a high level of drive and a strong sense of responsibility. Furthermore, you are proactive and ensure compliance, timely delivery, and high quality; and can handle complexity and know how to make things simple and understandable to people at all levels in the organisation. About the department In Novo Nordisk’s Corporate Tax department we are 17 dedicated employees working in teams within transfer pricing, tax reporting and controversy (corporate taxation) and indirect taxes. You will be part of the either the Indirect Tax team or the Tax Reporting and Controversy team in Corporate Tax where you refer to the director of the team. Further to this, you will be part of the Global Tax organisation encompassing around 70 employees worldwide.
