What team to join By joining Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT), you will become part of a strong global community of more than 2000+ skilled IT professionals who are responsible for IT systems, services, and projects in Novo Nordisk, working in a truly global organisation based on agile principles. The positions are based in DD&DT Operations - an area with 300+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services. The department consists of highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure for all Novo’s factories around the world. Our team is working in close co-operation with Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India, and external vendors. We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully. We are on a journey applying agile ways of working in our organisation, and our IT deliverables are according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints and iterations. The role and its responsibilities We are starting up a brand-new team handling Microsoft Hyper-V and you will as the team’s architect be responsible for design and operation. Together with the team you will handling critical Hyper-V infrastructure used in our production facilities. You will handle changes and operation in close corporation with factory system responsible and application vendor. Your key tasks include:
  • Setting direction on new implementations together with factory system responsible and vendor
  • Leading solution design and be engaged in implementation, documentation and qualification activities, life cycle management and daily operation tasks
  • Planning infrastructure implementations, changes, and maintenance together with factory system responsible and vendor
  • Managing Infrastructure Capacity
    • The successful candidate will have opportunity to work from either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, with flexibility to work from home some of the time. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A Bachelor`s degree or any higher qualification within IT or an analytical field
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V or Windows Cluster design and operation for business-critical systems
  • Experience within Microsoft Windows Server, backup, network topology and security
  • Great stakeholder management skills to understand internal dependencies in our processes and engagement with the Novo factories to define and prioritize the tasks
  • Understanding of standard IT infrastructure technologies is required
