You will be a part of a team in charge of global and technical support for a broad variety of production equipment including assembly and packaging for Local Manufacturing sites and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO’s). You will also be involved in the transfer of knowledge and technology to new CMO’s. As a Finished Production Specialist, you will play a key role in optimization, problem-solving, document approval, and ensuring that the solutions are in line with Novo Nordisk standards. Some of your key focus include: Supporting validation, optimization, and maintenance processes and local sites. Mentoring local production sites and sometimes providing hands-on help when needed: you will bring your expert knowledge for handling incidents, change requests, deviations, and cross organizational projects as well as be as having a crucial role during inspections. Playing a central role in our Virtual Factory tying together our production sites all around the world. Sharing your expert knowledge with our colleagues at both LM sites and the CMO’s. Supporting or driving the expansion projects into new markets and new partners. The position entails international travel in order to obtain first-hand knowledge of the production sites, the production equipment and establish relations with your stakeholders (between 4 to 8 weeks per year). However, most of the everyday operations will be through virtual meetings.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to: Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or any other relevant field. Have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry, working with Finished Production (FP) processes in assembly and packaging lines, covering tasks such as qualification, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of equipment and procedures. Be familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and have a previous experience as project manager or project participant. Possess a solid lean toolkit or other continues improvement / operational excellence toolkit to ensure a proactive maintenance approach. Be fluent in English, both written and spoken. On a personal side, you have a natural way of engaging and communicating with all types of stakeholders across many different cultures. You have a curious and strategic mindset when looking at the life cycle management of our equipment. Your structured approach or project management toolbox helps you follow through and support the continuous improvement effort of LM sites around the world. About the department
Local Manufacturing is responsible for establishing and operating local manufacturing production facilities in countries, where a local presence is required to obtain market access and be allowed to serve the patients. Our production processes are tableting, aseptic formulation/filling, assembly, and packing of diabetes care products for the local markets. We have operating sites and/or projects to establish local manufacturing in Algeria, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and other markets.
