Want to play a key role in driving adoption of emerging digital technologies and open innovation in Novo Nordisk? Want to work in the definition of the building blocks of external collaborations with startups and other unconventional partnerships in digital healthcare? We are looking for a profile able to understand different technologies and markets and to connect the different startup offering to the needs of our internal units. We are looking for flexibility and creativity to link opportunities and drive the maturation from ideas to successful pilots.

Open Innovation is part of the Business Innovation Garage, a high growth unit in Novo Nordisk. In the Open Innovation unit we are exploring several areas but with a strong focus on accelerating the digital transformation of NN by supporting the organization in boosting partnerships with startups in digital healthcare across several regions. Core focus is to remain forward-looking and showcase strong adaptability. Furthermore, the team is and must be working in a highly agile manner and be able to shift its focus based on rapidly changing opportunities and threats within emerging technologies. Consequentially, you should expect the team structure to be dynamic as well. About the job
As an Open Innovation Analyst you will be joining a team that is continuously scouting and identifying ideas and new solutions from external sources; screen, evaluate and select ideas for future development in line with industry needs at a global scale. You will be expected to identify new start-ups working on the digital space, define how to collaborate with those companies and work closely with the Novo Nordisk business units to generate impact in our business with digital. You should also be comfortable organizing information, gathering learnings and sharing those learnings among the organization. Also expect to have to represent the Garage in startup events and technology conferences. Qualifications
We are looking for a person with passion for discovering and modelling disruptive innovations. You should be able to research and analyse information from several sources and make reasoned recommendations on what opportunities to pursue. Strong analytical, technical and business skills are needed to navigate the landscape of technologies and translate uncertainties into tangible opportunities for Novo Nordisk. Formally, we expect you to have between at least 2 years of full-time experience working in venture capital, a startup or innovation unit in the digital healthcare environment, a relevant Master’s degree in technology with relevant innovation management connection and a track record that includes one or more of the following:
• Innovation track record with experience in startup scouting and partnerships
• Experience in organizing information and converting it in actionable results
• Knowledge and passion for digital trends and technology, specially in digital health
• Vivid and curious learner, willing to go the extra mile
• Eagerness to be a part of building something new and challenge traditional methodologies You should also be well-articulated, have excellent business English skills (oral and written), and be able to communicate with several stakeholders. Millions rely on us
