If so, then you might be our new Environmental Data Analyst Lead working as part of the Data and Analytics team of Environmental and Social Sustainability (ESS) at Novo Nordisk. The position As part of the Data and Analytics team, your main responsibilities will be to: Transform and support digitalize the current approach to environmental impact assessment and data management supporting the head of the department Lead the Life Cycle assessment and environmental impact quantification across the Product Supply division ensuring timely and strong support across production sites and departments Build up a strong environmental data foundation and seek state-of-the-art digital solutions by either building it up in the house or catering towards external solutions Manage, drive, and take ownership of the currently developed digital road map for sustainability and prepare business cases/plans for implementation Be a subject matter expert on the environmental impact quantification and Life cycle assessments Support the implementation of Novo Nordisk’s sustainable strategy - Circular for Zero, by delivering insights and analysis based on data and tools. Deliver insights and support to top management and ensure timely reporting Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have Minimum 5 years of Project Lead experience A master’s degree within Engineering, natural science, or similar and possibility relevant supplementary training in Data management and Life cycle assessments and sustainability Solid knowledge and experience within Life cycle assessments and environmental assessment preferably in GABI or other similar tools, Experience working with data management and analytics preferably Alteryx, Tableau or PowerBI Solid knowledge and experience from one of the following topic areas Supply chain management and Distribution; Energy and Water management; Circular Economy or Environmental Reporting and regulations/guidelines As a person, we are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a fast-paced homogenous team and at the same time can work with a high degree of independence to analyze and solve complex issues. Someone who generates ideas and solutions and is creative when faced with a problem. With an outgoing personality and strong communication skills, also both oral and written English, the ideal candidate excels at building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions to drive change and reduce environmental impact. About the department The Data and Analytics team is part of the Environmental & Social Sustainability department and is anchored within the Product Supply, Quality, and IT organization of Novo Nordisk. The team has embarked on the journey of reducing the environmental footprint by using data and digital solutions to support decisions. The team is among other things responsible for the reporting of energy, water, waste, and CO2 emissions from Production and distribution as well as developing state-of-the-art solutions to support therein. The team consists of highly skilled data analysts and scientists as well as business analysts who drive data analysis and insights on the environmental sustainability agenda for our expanding production sites. The Team is currently consisting of six people in HQ Bagsværd and two colleagues in Bangalore, India. We work closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to implement the Circular for Zero environmental strategy into Novo Nordisk production thus supporting our overall ambition to have zero environmental impact.
