What’s in it for you? As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be paired up with different Architects from DD&IT covering Novo Nordisk’s core Product Supply processes in the expansion program. You will get the opportunity to:
Take the technical leadership and put your mark on the technical ambitions encapsulated in our Architectural Runway. You will define, drive, and maintain the architectural runway, and ensure a harmonised and standardised system landscape, together with Program Management. Lead and drive talks on the future of product operations in Novo Nordisk IT/OT landscape within Novo Nordisk and vendors. Collaborate with and guide colleagues across multiple IT and LoB organisation areas, e.g., project and maintenance teams, system teams, Product Management and IT architects from other ARTs and domains on our Target Architecture and Architectural Principles. The current Data landscape around these opportunities is diverse, with PAS-X, SAP (ECC, GBT, ATTP), GlobalLIMS and various L2/L1 systems (SCADA, Historian, stand-alone equipment etc.) as the primary global platforms and source systems. Furthermore, we work in an Agile setup based on the SAFe® framework.
What are we looking for?
Your key trades include, but are not limited to the following experiences: You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar in experience Strong IT/OT functional background (e.g., MES, WMS, HMI, SCADA) Experience with agile ways of working and supporting tools like Azure DevOps Experience as an IT architect or aspiring to take that role working with integration platforms and methods towards both on-premises and cloud Experience with data harmonisation, publishing complex data to data lakes and data architecture.

The team waiting for you This role welcomes you into the DD&IT PS Architecture team, where the global strategic direction within IT/OT for Novo Nordisk Production Division is defined. The team consists of highly qualified IT/OT architects working closely with stakeholders on our Manufacturing Sites globally in Novo Nordisk. You will get the opportunity to join a team working with the newest technologies in an international, high-performance, and informal environment.
AP Expansion’s started April 2022 and is one of the most strategically critical programs for Novo Nordisk with high attention. With this, Novo Nordisk is committed to addressing the future demand by investing forecasts of DKK 10-15 bn annually in the coming years. The program aims to build multiple facilities worldwide with standard, future-proof, and scalable solutions by looking at new processes and facilities, building on new ideas and an opportunity to be a frontrunner in different solutions and technologies. In addition, we will be looking to improve and further automate and digitalise our production processes, raising the bar from what we can do today. The focus from our side is to bring our global production processes to the next digital level, by co-defining ambitious targets with our many internal and external teams, while also preparing for a fast-paced rollout in four different sites. The program counts +75 people, 18 different nationalities, and many diverse minds right now, and the numbers keep growing as the project evolves. We work across organisational areas and disciplines, and in general, the program is characterized by a strong culture where everyone, regardless of these disciplines, works closely with each other.
