Are you a seasoned Programme Management professional, who would like to step into the IT Scalability Programme and drive the mechanics of the Programme, helping us progress the transformation? In Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) CIO Office, we are looking for an experienced and impactful Program Office Lead for the Scalability Programme. As the Programme Office Lead, you will have an important and versatile role, responsible for the day-to-day management of the Value Assurance Programme Management Office paying attention to both the strategic and day-to-day matters. By doing so, you will have a vital role in ensuring Novo Nordisk continued digital expansion ensuring a real difference, for real people. More specifically, your responsibilities will evolve around the following areas: Strategic advice and planning: Be the second-in-command and advisor to the Programme Vice President, with a relentless focus on doing the right things, in the right way. Likewise, you will possess a cross-programme view and ensure that we keep track of roadmap, benefits, finances, risks, dependencies, and recommend changes when necessary. Programme Management: Lead the day-to-day implementation and delivery of portfolio, programme, and project services, incl. defining standards and policies, for example for monitoring and reporting of programme objectives and key results (OKRs), resourcing requests, demand management, and risk management. Workforce planning and resource management: Lead the development of workforce plans and budget to ensure that the programme has appropriately skilled resources to meet objectives and commitments in line with current and planned demand Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management: Actively manage relationships with senior stakeholders, and act as the second line of defence for risk and issue escalations in the programme. You will also be the routine contact point between suppliers and the programme and engage proactively and collaboratively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance Programme facilitation: Prepares and facilitates recurring and on-demand strategic and operational meetings with confidence, for example with the programme steering committee and the delivery leads.
The role is new, so you will also have your say in defining it together with the Programme Vice President, who will be your direct manager. Programme is being formed, but is expected to be +150 mDKK and +100 FTE per year.
What we’re looking for?
We imagine, that you hold a degree within a relevant field, for example, engineering, computer science, or business administration, and have +10 years of relevant experience from technology transformations in a large organisation.
Likewise, we believe that you will be able to tick the following boxes: Experience with implementing and delivering a large scale (100 mDKK/yr) program office is a prerequisite. A good understanding of the SAFe framework, including Lean Portfolio Management, will be an added advantage. An initiative mindset, strong drive, and motivation to drive change at all levels of the organisation. Strong interpersonal skills as you will be guiding and challenging your colleagues when needed. Strong communicative abilities, as you will be conveying complex information clearly both verbally and in writing, taking a strategic and systemic approach.
Joining the IT Scalability Programme and OCIO

The Scalability Programme implements the next generation of shared IT services and infrastructure that is required for enabling the scaling of Novo Nordisk. You will therefore join a cross-DD&IT programme working with people setting the strategic agenda for digital, data and IT to those that are implementing the latest technology. The programme is in its planning and mobilisation phase and is expected to have a duration of 2-3 years. The position is permanent.
