The Position As Associate Manager for the equipment support team, you will lead and coach a team of 15 highly dedicated and competent employees (academics and laboratory technicians). The teams primary focus is to make sure that the equipment in the department is always running in a stable and optimal way, together with taking in new technologies and qualifying new equipment. Your tasks will be: To ensure the correct prioritization of tasks

Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: Management experience, preferably in a laboratory environment
A scientific or engineering academic degree
Experience in Lean and GMP
Interest in equipment and new technologies
Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English and Danish.

About the Department The chemical QC department is a part of Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Manufacturing Development, and consists of 54 employees, organized in 3 teams. We are physically placed in Bagsværd. The department is responsible for a wide variety of chemical analysis on diabetes finished products and obesity products (primarily HPLC/UPLC), covering release, ID, stability, validation and customer complaint samples. We are receiving samples from our productions world-wide. Our laboratory is manned in the daytime (Monday to Friday). The QC department is a part of the VP-area, IFP QC DK, which consist of 2 chemical laboratories, 1 microbiological laboratory and a digitalisation and automation department. We have a close and inspiring collaboration across the area. We are on a journey of digitalizing our QC laboratories, by introducing automated processes and connecting laboratory equipment to LIMS, in order to support a paperless future. Currently the team is working on an automated samples storage facility, which will go live in the end of 2023. Besides new product we are also looking into expanding the capacity in the department, to be able to support the analysis of the new obesity products in Novo Nordisk. You are expected to support the key projects and make sure the resources are in place to take care of the daily operations as well as contributing to optimisations.
