The position
As a trusted advisor to a senior leadership team, your main focus in the role is to understand the business priorities and translate strategy into relevant and impactful HR actions, which includes driving:
• Organisational development and effectiveness
• Strategic workforce management
• Change management
• Diversity & Inclusion
• Talent management & development
• Culture and engagement
Alongside your HR Business Partner colleagues as well as executive support functions, you will be in charge of continuously reviewing, assessing and evolving the business to drive organisational efficiency and agility. Furthermore, you will be shaping and fostering an engaging, diverse, and inclusive employee environment, rooted in our values - the Novo Nordisk Way.
In your role as trusted advisor, you will build solid relationships with the business leaders and your colleagues in our Centres of Excellences in People & Organisation (P&O) where your role is to identify challenges, play an advisory role in addressing them, and implementing the right solutions.
Qualifications
You are characterised by being a strong and pragmatic executor with a strategic can-do mindset. You are known for being a person others want to work with, and someone who is respected by stakeholders, because you drive things forward and because you have a high personal integrity, which allows you to offer your perspectives respectfully.
Ideally, you:
• Have 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner within a large, international and culturally diverse environment
• Are able to think strategically and to translate business into HR actions, based on a thorough understanding of the challenges and future outlook.
• Know how to remove people and organization related roadblocks, ensuring strong support to strategy implementation
• Hold a relevant academic degree within HR, Organization, Business Psychology or similar.
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
It is natural for you to bridge opinions, among other things, by demonstrating good cultural understanding and stakeholder management skills. You are an experienced process facilitator, and you are good a discovering and developing solutions and get people to collaborate, focusing on what matters most for the end-user.
About the department
Your position will be anchored in People & Organisation (P&O) where you will become a part of the P&O Business Partnering unit and report to the P&O head of the business unit in scope. We are looking for HR Business Partners in different business areas across Novo Nordisk.
