We’re looking for a Cloud Developer to help us develop and guide our cloud solutions, with an emphasis on security and IAM. You’ll be a part of the Data Management Centre of Excellence within Digital, Data & IT, where we focus on high value creation and innovation. Join us in our mission to #BringDataToLife The position As a Cloud Developer you will play a central role in implementing and improving scalable solutions for our business areas, leveraging our data management and data science platforms on AWS. Your tasks include: Contributing to the development of our cloud solutions, including IaC and software products, in collaboration with your colleagues Bringing a security mindset to the design of our infrastructure and software, including developing and implementing security processes Using behaviour driven design principles to ensure that quality, compliance are early and natural design considerations in our solutions Ensuring that the products you support are continuously improving in code, security, and reliability. These improvements should be spread across the teams you interact with, so that you lift the bar of our product standards. Furthermore, you will: Coach and share knowledge with your colleagues through demos, co-development, and sparring, ensuring that expertise is spread across the team to enable collaborative ways of working Continuously develop your professional knowledge and skills through participation in external industry events such as seminars, conferences and publishing activities. The position is based in the Greater Copenhagen area. Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with the following background: Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, software development or a related field, with some exposure to cloud computing tools (preferably AWS) Familiarity with CI/CD and working with modern build, test and deployment tools An understanding of infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code Experience using two or more of the following programming languages: Python, Rust, Go, or TypeScript. Experience writing and refactoring code with these. Curious by nature, with a sincere interest in exploring new technologies. You can understand complex technical matters, form an educated opinion, and communicate with impact to a variety of stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise. We are expanding our offerings to the global organisation, so we need extra resources to succeed with our journey and ambitious vision. We do data acquisition and ingestion; data analysis and data engineering; evangelising the use of data and advanced analytics; and supporting data science users of our platform. We are cloud native and we work primarily on AWS. We deliver solutions using Scrum methodology. We have built and are operating the enterprise data lake, data mesh and data science platform on AWS to support our vision, which is to be able to deliver world class management of data. The overarching goal is to use data to gain new understandings and insights, drive optimisations and create true value to Novo Nordisk and the patients we serve.
