The position
We offer a challenging job that will provide you with an inside perspective into how Novo Nordisk works with financial processes across the organization. Your main tasks as an Internal Finance Auditor are: Having a wide range of assignments, primarily related to auditing internal financial controls as well as financial audits of the consolidated financial report, to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act and reporting in line with the IFRS standards. Performing sparring visits and trend sharing in the organization to help optimize the internal control environment and processes. Participating in our digital projects in Group Internal Audit (GIA). Opportunity to participate in business ethics audits to ensure that the organization is not involved in e.g., corruption, bribery, and fraud, or in investigations received via Novo Nordisk’s whistle-blower system.
Qualifications
You hold a MSc or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or similar and are fully proficient in written and spoken English. Other success criteria are: Minimum two years of experience working with a large auditing firm, and you are motivated by working both as part of a team and on independent assignments. Strong analytical skills combined with a proactive mind-set. Other key personal qualifications include a high level of energy, good sense of humor and the ability to stay focused while working under pressure and with complex issues. Willing to travel 40-60 days per year around the globe to conduct audits across the Novo Nordisk Group.
About the department
The position in GIA is based in Novo Nordisk HQ in Bagsvaerd, Denmark, and from here we perform audits of the Danish headquarter functions as well as travel to the global Novo Nordisk affiliates. GIA consists of 33 dedicated colleagues representing 11 different nationalities and is responsible for providing assurance to Senior Management and the Audit Committee within finance, business ethics, ESG and IT.
