As our Product Manager of Immersive Technologies, you will have a key role in our Automation & Immersive Technologies area, responsible for setting guidelines for planning and deploying our AR and VR technologies at a global level. Our overall aim is to digitalise and improve the efficiency of all manufacturing-related processes globally. Your area of responsibility will be broad and we expect that most of your time will be spent on the following tasks: You’ll translate the strategy into operational goals while delivering Sprint Objectives for each sprint period and managing program risks proactively. You’ll manage a complex web of internal- and external stakeholders such as suppliers, vendors, collaborators, and locally placed Product Owners (PO) from our customers in the line of business. You’ll host regular meetings with local POs to showcase product development and seek input, which you subsequently translate into product strategy. You’ll align with our Solution Architect to ensure product delivery guidelines and clear feature prioritization according to the Product Roadmap. You’ll work closely with the team’s people manager and Scrum Masters to drive the project forward with clarity and structure.
Qualifications
On a strategic level, you have a proven track record of setting direction and are well-versed in communicating a compelling purpose of product vision with passion and urgency on all levels of the organization and can translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities.
To thrive and succeed in the role, you have: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of demonstrated experience working in a similar position within Immersive Technologies or other Modern Technology/Digitalisation product areas Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, you will effortlessly navigate complex IT matters with non-IT colleagues through clear and concise written and spoken English Solid knowledge of how to implement and deploy global IT systems/programs As a person, you can use your empathy and IT knowledge to transform complex technical challenges and demands into workable solutions. Hence, you are ready for setting directions for how to ensure standardization and harmonization on how we do this as well as being responsible for driving Product Owner synchronization events and archive.
This position requires strong commitment and the ability to make decisions, often in a fast-paced, consensus-driven and political environment. About the department
You will join our Automation and Immersive Technologies Department, which is part of our Product Supply, Quality & IT area in Novo Nordisk. The team is responsible for implementing, developing, supporting, and maintaining a Immersive Technologies (Augmented & Virtual Reality) across our production sites globally in Novo Nordisk.
We partner with the business to support digital transformation and innovation in all parts of the Novo Nordisk value chain – from idea to patient. We accelerate digital value creation through standardized, efficient, and secure technology platforms – the foundation for everything digital in Novo Nordisk.
