The position As Environmental Professional you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team towards a future of zero environmental impact. Collaborating with departments on site, you'll gather insights to identify and carry out improvements, primarily but not limited to energy and water management. Your will also be collaborating with our network of manufacturing sites in Injectable Finished Products, which are pursuing the same sustainability ambitions. In this role, you will:
  • Fulfil the role of energy steward, and thus be responsible for energy management on site (IFP Bagsværd).
  • Manage environmental requirements and reporting, including energy, water and waste.
  • Conduct environmental mappings and identify and recommend improvements within environmental aspects and processes, particularly related to energy and water.
  • Drive projects to optimize energy and water consumption, as well as reduce waste generation.
  • Contribute to knowledge and best practice sharing across the site and within sites.
    • The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • A relevant technical education supplemented with at least 2 years of experience with environmental work, primarily energy management.
  • Good communication and project management skills, as you will work with various stakeholders and nationalities.
  • Solid analytical skills and practical experience in analysing complex issues.
  • Knowledge about circular economy and sustainability, and how to apply those in an industrial setting.
  • Fluency in English. Written and spoken communication skills in Danish are an advantage.
    • Further, you have good time management skills, and your approach your work with a structured mindset, allowing you to maintain a comprehensive overview and successfully complete tasks even during busier periods. Adapting to shifting priorities while keeping a clear view of the road ahead comes naturally to you, as you will be working in an environment characterized by constant change. You can handle most situations independently and with a routine approach, and you proactively seek advice and guidance on more complex issues. About the department Bagsværd is part of the production network for Injectable Finished Products at Novo Nordisk. The local EHS team is comprised of 5 talented professionals and is part of Business Support – an area also responsible for projects, logistics, finance, lean, digitalization, training, and facilities.
