Are you our new Scrum Master for IT projects within Health & Safety? Do you have experience working with agile project methodologies and are you used to supporting different stakeholders and being a point of contact? And are you comfortable working in a multidisciplinary, international environment?
If your answer is “Yes” you should come and join our world class team as our new Scrum Master in HR DD&IT supporting our fantastic Health & Safety organization in Novo Nordisk.
What will you be doing?
As a Scrum Master within Health & Safety, you are part of a global organization and will support our Health & Safety team facilitating the everyday life in the team that consists of HS specialists and IT professionals. You do this by focusing on capacity planning, efficient deliveries and coaching and leading the team through the different agile events and in the day-to-day operations of the team. You will keep track of and help solve impediments and escalate if necessary as well as helping the team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews.
The team is already running agile but have until now not had a dedicated Scrum Master, so you will be able to set your fingerprint on a setup that creates value for the area together with both Health & Safety and IT colleagues. We expect you to drive the agile team, support the budget process, be an agile sparring partner, manage Azure DevOps all while helping the Delivery team to deliver high quality IT solutions to Novo Nordisk.
Do you have what it takes?
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes then you are the person we are looking for: A Certified Scrum Master/SAFe DevOps with understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and events. Experience with classic project management, as sometimes we have to work on longer-term plans and deliverables. Help the PO and team building the roadmap for the area while ensuring the overall strategy is reflected. You have strong communication and negotiation skills, facilitation skills and have worked in global teams across time zones. You know your agile toolbox such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP and DevOps. You help the team manage their progress via transparent backlog and board overviews as well as solving impediments in the Agile team context with stakeholders from other agile teams. Ability to manage capacity planning ensuring that teams continuously deliver commitments and keep a high focus on using data to improve and optimize ways of working. Experience with budgeting and vendor management. You work with the data to identify patterns and take back trends to the team to work on continuous improvement, value creation and efficiency Abilities to prepare and align expectations with stakeholders As a person, you can take a driver’s seat when it comes to leaning in, getting rid of impediments, and setting the team up with the best conditions to focus on delivery of all the cool stuff they committed to the business with strong facilitation skills. Moreover, you’re capable of spotting issues but also thinking of solutions and actively collaborate with peers (PM, PO, delivery team) to continuously optimize the way we work and ensure a high quality in deliverables. You have an energetic, passionate, and ambitious personality as well as the ability to put yourself in the shoes of the customer; understand the “why” behind the solutions and help translate between Health & Safety and IT. You will be part of HR DD&IT (Digital, Data & IT) which has the strategic focus of driving digitalization of HR services in close partnership with Global P&O. HR DD&IT is a global team that includes approx. 70 employees based in Denmark, India and the US. Our department is anchored within DD&IT and team members are placed closely to HR teams for optimal collaboration and hands-on business support. HR DD&IT is working according to the agile methodology to efficiently support Global P&O’s digital journey. The team in Health & Safety where you will act as SM is a unit in the global People & Organisation division, located in Bagsværd, Denmark.
The department is Novo Nordisk's Centre of Excellence in the field of health and safety with around 40 dedicated colleagues.
