Behind the title
As Senior Portfolio Manager & Business Partner, you will become business partner and ensure that our operating model, software products, services and offerings are clearly understood in Novo Nordisk.
In this role you will be part of: Setting direction by enabling strategic conversations and workshops in collaboration with other business units in DD&IT as well as together with key stakeholders in senior leadership positions in relevant business areas across the entire value. Ensuring proper focus on resource allocation from across our different Centres of Excellences, Understanding and are aligned with our architectural runway, and you ensure that feedback is flowing between our partners and software products, so that we continuously improve our products and services. Assisting and be part of preparing the strategic agenda within BI, DM&A as well as upwards in the organisation towards senior leadership in various decision forums. Tracking value creation and ensure that we are investing our resources and management attention in initiatives that strategically matters to Novo Nordisk in the space of data, advanced analytics, and AI.
You are a team player, and you understand when to invest your time and when to enable and ensure everyone are connected at the right level. Which competencies to bring?
We are looking for a candidate who can fulfill most of the following requirements for this position: Phd, MSc or similar graduate degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or other relevant fields 7-10 years of experience within IT, management consulting or leadership ideally combined with working in agile organisations, and cloud technology. Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and you understand the pharmaceutical value chain in depth. “Hands on” with digital solutions, and relevant international mindset in your daily work. Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken is a given.
You are very nice to be around, gets the job done, you understand the importance of securing a safe and sound environment driving high performing teams with a nice and relaxed yet productive atmosphere. Finally, you must have experience in managing key senior management stakeholders through effective communication, across all relevant levels of the organisation. About the area
You will become a member of the leadership team and become part of an international organisation consisting of Centres of Excellences within Software and cloud engineering, Data Management, Business Intelligence and AI & Advanced Analytics. The leadership team holds the global responsibility for our operating model, the technology, processes and how we work, as well as ensuring that our area is a great place to be for everyone involved. We are cloud native, however we work primarily on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
We evangelise the opportunity to apply data and advanced analytics, initiating analytical initiatives and supporting data science users of our platform. We have built and are operating our data and analytical platforms, and tools that have enabled innovation and value creation to the benefit of the patients we are here to serve.
