About the Department The Advanced Analytics team is part of a bigger BI & Advanced Analytics department in the global finance organisation. We are a highly diverse department consisting of data scientists, BI developers, project managers and partners coming from different countries and united by an unwavering drive to develop and deliver data-driven solutions to our stakeholders. We have a very collaborative working environment that embraces change and innovation while striving to continuously increase the level of analytics services globally. The Advanced Analytics team was established 2 years ago and has since unveiled the potential of AI & Machine Learning to bring data-driven predictions and forward-looking insights to various areas. With the growing demand from the global finance organisation, we are now in the process of expanding the team to drive even more use-cases. In addition to classical data science skills, we are also looking for ML engineering capabilities to ensure efficient pipelines in light of increasing number of projects. Position As our Data Scientist equipped with ML engineering skills, you will be part of a team supporting the requirements translation of use-cases from a business point of view into advanced analytics models, backed up by thorough and iterative exploratory analysis and data wrangling. Your key responsibilities: Support driving the development of ML pipelines, to enable sustainable data injection, data processing, ML modelling and outputs serving, aimed at providing business partners with actionable insights and ensuring analytics models and ML pipelines that are interpretable and replicable. Identify data sources and implement the optimal approach of retrieving data and serving it as an entry point to advance analytics, drive insights and provide recommendations on existing data quality or future data collection to apply the appropriate quantitative techniques. Strengthen our in-house capabilities in the space of data science and ML engineering and use of best technology practices through knowledge sharing with colleagues.
The position is located at HQ in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), with flexible working options Qualifications
We are looking for someone, who has: 3+ years of hands-on experience within Data, Machine Learning & other Advanced Analytics projects. Background in a quantitative field, e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or similar; experience with time series forecasting is a plus. Solid data management knowledge (e.g. SQL), SAP BW/BO or S/4 Hana experience is a plus. Advanced knowledge of Python is a must and familiarity with other programming languages, e.g. R, is a plus. Experienced in cloud computing services, e.g. Azure, AWS and Databricks; Azure Machine Learning/AI is a plus. Your colleagues describe you as a team player with good communication skills and ability to explain complex issues in layman terms. Fundamental knowledge of corporate finance is a plus.
