About the Department
The Advanced Analytics team is part of a bigger BI (Business Intelligence) & Advanced Analytics department in the global finance organisation. We are a highly diverse department consisting of data scientists, BI developers, project managers and partners coming from different countries and united by an unwavering drive to develop and deliver data-driven solutions to our stakeholders. The Advanced Analytics team was established 2 years ago and has since unveiled the potential of AI & Machine Learning to bring data-driven predictions and forward-looking insights to various areas. With the growing demand from the global finance organisation, we are now in the process of expanding the team to drive even more use-cases. Beyond data science skills, one of the key factors needed to embrace the full potential of Advanced Analytics is to ensure that the global finance organisation has a good understanding of AI technologies and is well versed in using advanced analytics solutions in decision making. Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious data translator for our team! Position As our advanced analytics partner, you will play a pivotal role in building up our portfolio of impactful use cases across the global finance organisation. To successfully do so, you will be collaborating closely with many different stakeholders to understand business requirements, refine those requirements from a data science point of view and translate into potential modelling solutions. As our new team member, you will: Work closely with data scientists throughout the development and delivery of machine learning models and frameworks to ensure they ongoingly provide necessary insights fit to be successfully integrated into business processes. Support in planning and execution of the advanced analytics project pipeline, being a sparring partner to data scientists and participating in data analysis and hypotheses generation. Assist in promoting a data-driven culture and increase advanced analytics literacy across the global finance organization through organising hackathons / workshops with the aim of continuous expansion of the project pipeline. Liaise with stakeholders across all levels to build and cultivate an Advanced Analytics community and help accelerate the digitalisation ambition of the global finance organisation. The position is located at HQ in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), with flexible working options. Qualifications Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or similar. 2+ years of hands-on experience with data wrangling and processing in Python, ideally combined with working in agile organisations and/or cloud technology. Excellent ML/Advanced Analytics project management and problem-solving skills with high level of literacy in data analysis. Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into valuable recommendations for senior leaders. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
