Let’s talk about the role As our new Senior IT/AV architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that we support the entire global Novo Nordisk organisation with high-end AV technical solutions. We set the standards within meeting rooms, digital screen solutions, live-stream set-ups, and everything where audio-visual hardware and software solutions are needed. Our team defines the global standards, and drive scope and design for customized solutions. With the growth of Novo Nordisk, we are also looking into the future and how smart buildings will be part of building support. Main job tasks: Analyse line of business needs and propose the most optimal, sustainable and cost-effective AV solutions. Coordinate and supervise installations, integrations, testing-, and troubleshooting of the system components and subsystems. Update and decide on new hardware upgrades (new models) and ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk requirements Ensure that relevant architectural documentation is available and updated Stay ahead of future trends, asses new technologies and infrastructure opportunities and evaluate the feasibility of concepts and services from vendors Oversee the service deliveries from vendors on the contractual services being provided and ensuring high collaboration with suppliers Balance the need and wants of the user with possibilities in scale of operation, and future scope of the organisation The skills we hope to see The ideal candidate for this position should meet most of the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field along with 5+ years of proven experience AV, preferably in a large and complex environment Strong knowledge of Cisco Webex solutions, VBrick live-stream, MS Teams/Live Event/Townhall, AV over IP, AV hardware management, and latest trends technology within the field, MTR solutions Strong knowledge of the smart building industry standards, best practices, and technologies is an advantage. Proficient in using system design and modelling tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, etc. is an advantage. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills along with fluent written and spoken English Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel and work on-site as required The ideal candidate for this position should have a quality mindset, great communication and analytical skills, as well as be open to feedback and able to work independently while paying attention to deadlines. You should also have a solution-oriented and curious mindset and be able to present ideas effectively, demonstrating a good understanding of customer service management, as well as the technical aspects of our services. Moreover, you should possess a high level of integrity and strong negotiation skills. About the department The Digital Workplace Department is globally responsible for ensuring a digital working environment fostering simplicity, collaboration, and high performance for all Novo Nordisk employees. We manage Microsoft 365, Meeting technologies, Computing, and Mobile platforms and devices as part of DD&IT, Novo Nordisk's Digital, Data, and IT partner.
