As a Manager for one of the three Training Consulting Teams, you lead a team of 10 highly skilled training and lean professionals that offer global support to local areas in executing strategic projects with high business impact that will fundamentally optimize and modernize the training system.
The unit and your team will take the lead on implementing a rock-solid and modern training system, based on lean principles, satisfying and simple to end-users, and driving a culture of continuous improvements, and human performance, with business impact.
As a Manager, you will ensure that everyone in your team is highly engaged, competent, and clear on our shared purpose and current priorities. To truly understand what adds value and makes a difference for your stakeholders, you spend most of your time on the shop floor, leading and coaching your team of consultants. Together with SVP Training Partners and other teams across Training & Capability Building, you ensure that all business areas are successfully able to develop, implement, and improve standards and high-quality training content in an aligned and compliant way.
You will work closely with the Training Consulting management team, setting the direction, and relentlessly striving to improve the impact of our consultancy support. The success of your team is measured by the level of customer satisfaction as well as key performance indicators such as reduction of deviations, minimized “time to skill”, improved right-first time, and productivity gains. However, your own performance is also evaluated through shared key behavior indicators and the values presented in the Novo Nordisk Way.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Hiring, building, and developing a high-performing consulting team
• Coordinating and guiding training consultants throughout the value chain, including coaching, task management, and steering group meetings.
• Providing leadership coaching and developing new solutions to enhance performance
• Ensuring team collaboration across the unit and business area
• Prioritization of consulting tasks and projects based on criticality and business impact Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you have experience in a similar leadership role in a global environment in which you have demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration skills. Ideally, you have comprehensive experience developing and implementing training/or lean programs in production, and you know how to apply these to meet business needs.
Furthermore, a successful candidate for this position should possess the following qualities and skills:
• A relevant academic background, e.g. within Organisational Development, Psychology, HR, or equivalent
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial, as well as familiarity with digitalization and new technologies,
• Prior production experience is an advantage, especially hands-on experience coaching lean leadership
• Solid experience in change management, as well as excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken Danish and English

About the department
To succeed with strategic and operational targets, Novo Nordisk has decided to invest significantly in training and lean over the coming years. This is affecting our area of Training Partnering & Execution which is a part of Global P&O.
Within this area, you will become a part of Training Consulting - a centralized global consulting unit consisting of three teams that drive and support standardization and optimization initiatives across Novo Nordisk. Together with the area, you will be part of driving an ambitious change journey towards globally optimizing and aligning training, standards, and lean principles. The Training Consulting unit is known for its ability to support the fast and efficient execution of consulting services and projects through the scaling of best practices, not leaving stakeholders before they are satisfied, business impact has been proven, and solutions are sustainable.
