Are you a seasoned IT/OT Architect with an aspiration to take on a role as lead architect for the area and act as a trusted partner to management teams? Would you like to play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural direction within one of the major production areas in Novo Nordisk, all while engaging with advanced technology? The position As our Lead System Architect, you guarantee that every IT/OT solution within our area follows the overall Novo Nordisk Target Architecture, assuming leadership in IT business processes and leaving your mark on the technical ambitions within our area. Your collaboration extends to guiding colleagues across various IT and Line of Business areas, including project and maintenance teams, system teams, Product Management, and IT architects from different areas and sites, all in adherence to the Target Architecture and Architectural Principles.
Some of your key tasks encompass: Defining and leading the architectural strategy for our area in collaboration with pertinent SMEs Securing support and cooperation from local architects and managers Cultivating a network of architects and promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning Maintaining a visible presence throughout the entire area and establishing relationships with local architects and production sites Ensuring adherence to Novo Nordisk Target Architecture for all solutions The current IT/OT landscape is diverse, providing you with the chance to engage with various MES solutions (such as PAS-X/Syncade), diverse control systems (including DCS and SCADA), and numerous installations of data Historian, and stand-alone equipment. Qualifications We are looking forward to engaging with candidates who: Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Demonstrate expertise as an IT architect or aspire to take such a role, specifically focusing on integration platforms and methods for both on-premises and cloud environments Possess a strong IT/OT functional background, including experience with MES, WMS, DCS, SCADA, PLC, SQL Bring experience in finished product production, serving as a process supporter, coupled with a strong process understanding It would be considered a strong advantage if you have experience in a highly-regulated industry and familiarity with data harmonisation, publishing complex data to data lakes, and data architecture. As a person, you thrive on assuming responsibility, not just for System Architecture but also for fostering cross-organisational alignment and communication across various levels. You are proactive, curious, visionary, and aspire to take the initiative in guaranteeing we deliver a future-proof and solid IT architecture to our stakeholders.
About the department CSD is an area with more than 3,000 employees spanning Denmark, Japan, Algeria, Iran and Russia, responsible for manufacturing of devices and needles, as well as sourcing for various goods and materials for production across all of Novo Nordisk. You will join app. 20 colleagues in CSD Business Support in the CSD IT & Digitalisation Department, where we set direction and strategically develop IT and digital use across CSD for whom we serve as trusted partners.
