The position As an Associate Director in Policy and Partnerships on Chronic Kidney Disease, you will: Develop our public affairs strategy for people living with Chronic Kidney Disease Map the global policy and stakeholder landscape to define policy asks and potential partners Generate policy evidence and develop advocacy material to ensure health system preparedness Engage and influence relevant stakeholders at global and national levels to drive awareness Represent Novo Nordisk in international fora and multi-stakeholder initiatives A part of this role will be to co-create impactful advocacy initiatives, joint positions, policy briefs, and evidence with different partners, and connecting and collaborating with broader teams to identify partnership opportunities that align with our social responsibility. Additionally, there will be synergies across other Novo Nordisk therapy areas (diabetes, obesity, liver disease, and cardiovascular disease). The role holder must be able to identify and exploit synergies wherever possible. Qualifications To succeed in this role we expect you to have: Master level degree in Political science, International Relations, Public Affairs, Journalism, Public Relations, or other relevant degree 7+ years’ experience and a proven track record in working in driving results, driving Regional or Global Strategies, Public Affairs expertise Experience working in chronic disease policy preferred Ability to manage complex projects/issues Excellent communicator with advanced spoken and written English As a person you are outgoing and proactive with excellent stakeholder management skills.
