The position As a Senior Finance Partner, your responsibilities include: Aiding in integrating a novel area and activity in Novo Nordisk. Designing and operating the annual financial wheel of budgeting and reporting on sales and operating costs, including planning, and executing budget updates, and ensuring transparency and understanding of changes between budget rounds. Delivering high-quality insights and forecasting to support business decisions and actions. Driving value creation by linking finance activities to business priorities, ensuring the connection between business plans, activities, and optimal resource allocation, and delivering trusted finance business partnering to support strategic decision-making. Continuously improving productivity by optimizing and visualizing financial insights and processes through digital finance and improving ways of working. We are looking for a person with well-established experience to aid in the financial integration and partnering with a new area in Novo Nordisk. You will be involved in designing and operating core financial processes in the financial annual wheel as well as activities related to financial management and digital finance. The position offers a steep learning curve with plenty of exciting opportunities to make an impact, where you will help ensure strong financial tracking and the development of your Financial Planning & Analysis and stakeholder management capabilities. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, you possess: A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar) with at least 4-5 years of work experience within finance, preferably in a similar setting such as affiliate, commercial, or operations finance. A good understanding of financial management and controlling; experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is an advantage. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and SAP is an advantage, but not a prerequisite; however, a willingness to explore and work with these tools is needed. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in both oral and written English. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. About the department You will report to the Manager of the External Supply Business Finance team. The team develops and drives financial management within operational costs and manning and is responsible for the External Supply area across all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT. This includes management of all global contract manufacturing, sourcing operations and strategic sourcing. You will be part of a team of 13 employees, 10 in Denmark and 3 in India, which value purpose, responsibility and proactiveness.
