Do you want to play a key role in the development of a whole new setup for clinical trials?
LEO Pharma has set the very ambitious goal to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner. To fulfill this vision, we are transforming our organization across products, systems, processes and tools – in short everything is in play in an increasingly more complex and global setting. Now we have set out to revolutionize our way of conducting clinical trials. And that is why we need you and all your skills within technology driven innovation. Your personal efforts will make a significant difference for hundreds of colleagues and partners and thousands of patients across the globe.
Broad responsibility from analyses and prototype development to scalable operations
You will join a newly established and growing team with the responsibility to design, build and enable the implementation of a new setup for our global clinical trials. The ambition is to be at the absolute forefront by using the best digital tools, systems and processes. We want to leverage automation and deliver far enhanced data and insights to our clinical trial, research and market access experts.
First step is to achieve a deep understanding of what we do today, how we do it and why we do it across clinical trials and our varying stakeholders. From there we decide whether to redesign, optimize or build something new with a focus on operational scalability and quick wins. Adaptability, passion and energy are key since we are tackling the unknown. Some things you will do:

Start-up mentality and agile development experience
As we are breaking new land we do not know the full path ahead. This calls for profiles that can thrive in a world of uncertainty and have the guts to make decisions without knowing the full picture. Additionally, you must bring a humble attitude towards all kinds of tasks and simply “roll up your sleeves” and “get your hands dirty” to do what needs to be done to build our foundation and accelerate our progress. We are a new department and part of LEO Pharma’s Global Clinical Operations - meaning you must be able to understand and influence many different experts across professional and cultural borders. You must connect and communicate in a way that makes sense to our varying audience. Your CV might comprise of:

- Drive and oversee the development of prototypes and MVPs, e.g. automation tools
- Expand use of data, process automation with RPA tools, work with data analytics team
- Help define the strategy and road map
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs
- With the team create an innovation engine and an overview of opportunities across digital tools
- Help establish new ways of working and thinking while capturing quick wins
- Design and implement the new setup for global clinical trials
- Scout the market for new technological opportunities

- Tangible accomplishments with technical solutions, digital health or software development
- Experience from an agile, SCRUM or DevOps setting – start up experience is highly valued
- Experience within rapid prototyping and MVP creation (you can code and have overseen software or digital product development work)
- Examples of understanding business needs and converting them to technical solutions or relevant digital products
- Experience with digital health, clinical trials, machine learning or software development a plus
