LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. LEO Pharma is recruiting an experienced professional to be medical affairs responsible for Real World Evidence (RWE) with focus on RWE generation in relation to the launch of an innovative biologic treatment for Atopic Dermatitis. In Global Medical Affairs you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.
The job
The position offers an unique opportunity to work for a leading company in dermatology with a global presence, improving people’s live around the world.
Key tasks include:
Develop a Global Medical RWE strategy, identify data gaps, establish and drive data generation plan for non-interventional studies in Global Medical Affairs in collaboration and alignment with Global Market Access and LEO Pharma Affiliates. Develop a Global Strategy for participation in external Registries in the area of atopic dermatitis. Develop a publication strategy based on the RWE data generation, in collaboration with Publication and Market Access colleagues and Affiliates. Develop strong relationship with core Affiliates and ensure their input into the strategy and execution. Non-interventional study design and management responsible of CROs.
Further, you will be involved in collaboration with Global functions, brand and project teams as needed and expected to assist in training of LEO personnel.
Your qualifications
Terminal or Doctorate degree or MSc with relevant experience required. A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in pharmaceutical industry is required. Minimum of 3 years of previous experience of setting up NIS studies in a Medical Affairs position Experience with working with stakeholders in US as well as outside of US. Deep understanding of Medical Affairs, Market Access/HEOR, safety or related disciplines to generate valuable evidence from retrospective and prospective studies.
The ideal candidate has experience in dermatology or related experience, must be a team-player with good interpersonal skills, appreciate the value of cross functional collaboration, have a strong drive, be well-structured and perseverant and have a strong drive and a strategic mind-set.

As Lead for RWE you will be a part of a highly motivated Global Medical Affairs team with clinical, research and marketing experience. The team is located in Ballerup, Denmark and Madison, NJ, US. The position location of our new colleague can be either in Madison or Ballerup, depending on preference of the candidate.
