Manager for our new R&D Prototype Center
Are you ready to pave the way for future rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing technologies, and would you like to try your hands at leading a team of your own?
Join a brand-new function in Ballerup
Rapid prototyping is at the heart of product development and a critical function that enables us to lead major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions. This is why we are creating the Prototype Center – a high-tech workshop with skilled colleagues coming from different departments within GN Hearing.
Bring your team to success
You will head up the Prototype Center and its 9 members, including expert tool makers, tool designers and precision engineers. We have a no-nonsense performance culture, and the team will be quite independent on daily tasks, so you can focus on further developing and strengthening the team.
Shape rapid prototyping together with us
You will likewise be accountable for timely delivery of mechanical prototypes and prototype builds. To achieve this, you will spearhead the development and implementation of new rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing technologies.
The team is involved in prototypes and builds from early concepting and front-end design to verification phases. This leaves many opportunities and needs for new technologies.
”It will be your mission to shape rapid prototyping here at GN Hearing by scouting and experimenting with new ways of prototyping and working with partners, such as DTU, to develop new technologies,” says Director of Product Development Andreas Schousboe.
Rapid prototyping expert with management skills
Previous leadership experience is not a requirement but a great advantage. What we do look for is the right skills to build on.
“We are looking for someone with drive, empathy, and creativity and also great people and problem-solving skills. I will help you harness and further develop these, so you can become a great leader,” Andreas explains.

Rapid prototyping expert with management skills
- You are an expert in rapid prototyping methods related to additive manufacturing/3D printing and injection molding
- You have experience with product development tools, e.g. 3D CAD, Moldflow, and preferably also lean product development methods
- You are familiar with working in project teams
- You are fluent in English
