As Senior Manager in Statistical Programming you will be leading one of two dedicated teams. In close collaboration with the manager of the other team you will set the direction aligned with overall strategies, stay updated on all projects in the team and provide on-going positive coaching to each team member as well as the team as a unit. You will head a multi-cultural team of 10-12 very competent professionals in an exciting and fast-changing environment.
Statistical Programming at LEO is characterised by a long 15+ years tradition of first-mover on CDISC. We continuously improve our ways of working, and currently we have a number of large system and standardization projects ongoing in parallel to several ongoing and planned clinical submissions.

You are expected to:
Your overall goal is to ensure that your team delivers high-quality statistical programming input to customers across the global organisation – within agreed timelines.
Your competencies
You are qualified in life sciences/natural sciences/computer sciences or similar and you have well founded experience from working hands-on within statistical programming in a pharmaceutical company or a CRO. Preferably, your experience involves programming lead roles in clinical projects and associated regulatory requirements. You have experience within people management and/or project management and are motivated by developing your skills as a positive enabler for your team. Related to this, you ideally have experience from working in an organization under transformation, globalization and growth.
To succeed, you must have a strong drive for results and a positive and constructive leadership style. You also have a flexible mindset in order to ensure deliverables in a project organization with multiple deadlines and priorities. Additionally, you have the communication skills needed to ensure excellent stakeholders management and fruitful collaborations. As Manager you are openminded and you can make people believe in succeeding as a team.
Your new team
You will be part of the leadership team for Data Management and Statistical Programming, which consists of the Senior Manager for Data Management, your peer Manager for Statistical Programming and the Director of the area. Data Management and Statistical Programming comprises around 30 LEO Pharma professionals and 20 consultants. Currently, the Statistical Programming teams are in total 20 professionals and 17 consultants. The number of internal professionals will be growing over the coming years. The team members have different backgrounds, nationalities and levels of experience. The working environment is based on trust, collaboration and we share a common drive for success – the success of one colleague is the success of us all.

- Lead, motivate, develop and support – the statistical programming team as a group as well as the employees individually
- Provide guidance within your functional area to clinical development programs
- Support development and implementation of new standards, processes and system improvements
- Set clear visions and continuously develop the strategy for Statistical Programming. Drive its implementation and ensure alignment with LEO Pharma strategy and latest industry development
- Collaborate proactively in the leadership team and in cross-organizational assignments to create long lasting results for the organization.
