We are in the search for a Senior Manager with Biologics and Contract Manufacturing Organization experience for LEO Pharma’s External Manufacturing Planning team

Do you have experience within external biologics production, a complex planning setup for CMO’s and are you ready to take a driving role in managing Supply balance and high delivery performance when working with external contract manufacturers?
Your job will be to ensure LEO supply performance on all of CMO bought products through an effective planning process that secures balance between order management, Inventory management, demand and supply under consideration of production capacity and inventory targets for LEO well established products, biologics as well as API produced at different CMO’s.

Main responsibility
We are looking for Senior Manager for our Global External Manufacturing Planning team.
Your overall responsibility is to ensure LEO supply performance on all of CMO bought products through an effective planning process that secures balance between order management, Inventory management, demand and supply under consideration of production capacity and inventory targets for LEO well established products, biologics as well as API produced at different CMO’s.
Your primary tasks are to:
- Provide leadership, direction and manage the External Manufacturing Planning team and develop and share knowledge and best practice and drive capability improvement.
- Set the strategy and goals for External Manufacturing Planning – to develop the end to end process capabilities with the CMO’s., to develop the best collaborative planning with CMO’s.
- Drive down total cost of managing the network (e.g. logistical flow of goods and transport cost).
- Manage critical supply events by coordinating resolution plan and communication plan in close corporation with the ICS organization and/or brand management.
- Secure action plan based on the results from the LEO Voice results.
In order to assure on time deliveries to our patients, you will work closely with stakeholders such as: Vice President Global Supply Chain, Global Supply Chain Function Heads, CMOs, API suppliers etc.
Who are we looking for?
You must possess strong, practical and strategic experience in External Manufacturing Supply Planning in an international pharmaceutical production environment. You quickly and decisively take actions in fast-changing situations. You take initiative in tough situations; are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You communicate and build strong relations at all organizational levels internal as well external with partners across the world. You thrive in a job where you can use your holistic business understanding and at the same time you have an entrepreneurial mindset. Related to this, you are motivated by being able to impact the continuous development of our Planning process. Working in a global setup, you must have solid English skills, both written and spoken.
As you will be part of a new and highly prioritised portfolio you must thrive on working in a dynamic environment where we do not have all answers up front. You will contribute to creating the answers and solutions.
Experience within Supply Chain and planning
You have experience with biologics production (syringe-, vial- and sterile production) and a multilevel CMO setup in a contract manufacturing organization setup.
You hold a degree at minimum B.Sc. level within supply chain management or similar and have a minimum of 10 years of experience from working with supply chain planning, minimum 2 years with personnel responsibility.
You have experience with SAP ECC, SAP APO and Microsoft Office.
External Manufacturing, Supply Planning– who are we?
With you in our team, we are 6 experienced professionals working with LEO Pharma’s Contract Manufacturing Organization (and growing). We report to our VP Global Supply Chain and interact with stakeholders in many areas of the company and outside of it.
The position is based in Ballerup, Denmark and we would provide you with relocation package if you currently live abroad.
