Take lead, set the direction and turn ideas into tangible results
Your overall objective will be to lead or participate in the design, development, implementation and maintenance activities for injection device solutions with main focus on usability and Human Factors Engineering. You will unfold your skills from early ideation until finalisation of design validation through summative usability studies, in close collaboration with external partners including CROs, design agencies, technology suppliers and more.

Solid usability and HFE experience from a big international organisation

Your overall objective will be to lead or participate in the design, development, implementation and maintenance activities for injection device solutions with main focus on usability and Human Factors Engineering. You will unfold your skills from early ideation until finalisation of design validation through summative usability studies, in close collaboration with external partners including CROs, design agencies, technology suppliers and more.
You will:
- Set the direction and build a new framework/eco system for Human Factors Engineering (HFE) in LEO
- Manage and coordinate activities within and across several scientific disciplines – often as driver and project coordinator
- Generate general patient/user insights and descriptions (e.g. identification of personas, descriptions of patient populations etc.)
- Build and maintain a network to multiple key stakeholders internally as well as externally
- Support maintenance activities for marketed products
- Ensure adequate documentation related to development activities (Medical Devices / Drug-Device Combination products / Device Constituent Parts)
- Ensure all activities follow internal processes as well as meet regulatory requirements

Solid usability and HFE experience from a big international organisation

As part of an organisation in transformation it is also very important that you can make decisions without knowing the full picture and in general can handle change.
Additionally, your CV comprises:
- A degree at minimum Masters’ level
- More than 8 years of work experience and at least five within usability and HFE – the more you can bring the better
- Extensive knowledge of human perception of and reactions to technology
- Solid experience as facilitator and project coordinator
- Experience from working in or for big international corporation can be beneficial
