Do you want to drive improvement initiatives and lead the improvement culture? Are you data-driven and have an excellent process understanding? Then you might be our new Quality Improvement Engineer.
As our new Quality Improvement Engineer you will identify different types of material waste as well as other waste in our productions based on facts and data. You will form the solution and ensure that we achieve the goal of the project by manage it in at structured way using well-known lean tools and methodologies.
Among many various tasks, your key responsibilities are:
▪ Finding data and facts to support improvement initiatives both in regard to material and other waste
▪ Using problem solving tools and structured methodologies for identifying root causes and continuous improvement areas
▪ Participate and lead value stream mapping, mass balance and other Lean activities
▪ Drive initiatives to optimise material usage throughout our value chain (value engineering as well as yield improvements)
▪ Support others in executing various improvement initiatives
▪ Engage and communicate with all relevant stakeholders to drive the (yield) improvement culture
We see the ideal candidate possessing the following competencies and personality:
▪ Self-driven and execution focused
▪ Proactive, positive and solution oriented
▪ Highly effective communicator
▪ Well-structured and methodological
▪ Manage to make the complex simple
▪ Know when to execute and delegate, and how to make the right prioritizations
▪ Acting as a team player and build strong collaboration with other functions and key stakeholders
▪ High level of language skills in English, both written and verbal
Qualification & Experience
▪ You hold a Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
▪ Minimum professional experience: 2-3 years within the area
▪ Six Sigma, incl. preferable experience with mini tap
▪ Hands-on experience with Lean, methodologies and improvement initiatives
▪ Project management with several stakeholders
