Experienced Medical Expert in cross-organizational project teams
As a Medical Expert working on a high-profile project within dermatology you will join an ambitious, fun-loving, and closely collaborating team of Medical Expert colleagues striving to bring new treatments to patients with atopic dermatitis and other dermatological conditions. You will also work in cross-organizational project teams together with other highly skilled colleagues from multiple countries. Your primary tasks will, depending on your level of experience, be to:
- Act as Medical Expert responsible for submission of clinical trial data to regulatory agencies as well as relevant interactions with these agencies
- Act as Medical Lead responsible for giving strategic and medical input to the whole development programme including being part of the Global Programme Team
- Drive the medical and scientific content of Clinical Development Plan
- Act as a Medical Expert, being responsible for medical input to clinical trials from the very beginning to the end of the trial - trial protocols, trial reports, regulatory documents, investigator’s brochures and publications
- Represent LEO Pharma in interactions with external stakeholders including investigators, therapeutic experts, and regulatory authoritie
You will be based at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Before the COVID-19 pandemic you could look forward to 10-20 days of travel per year to meet partners and colleagues, primarily in Europe and the US. Currently there is almost no travel and it is uncertain what the new normal will be.
MD with clinical drug development experience and strong analytical skills
The open position calls for experience from the pharmaceutical industry. Experience with regulatory submissions and with being the medical lead is considered especially valuable. We are looking for a person with strong analytical and strategic skills and the ability to create results as part of various teams. We value an open-minded approach and understanding of and respect for cultural and professional differences. You must also be good at presenting your results and recommendations (written and spoken). Your CV comprises:
- An education as Medical Doctor and preferably clinical experience
- Research experience, preferably a PhD
- Experience within clinical drug development
- Experience and/or a professional interest within the field of dermatology
Your new department
You will join approx. 50 scientists who share the ambition to turn exciting challenges into the best and most innovative treatments of tomorrow. Most of us are based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Additionally, we have smaller units in the US and China. We are organized in 5 sections: three sections with Medical Experts and two sections with Medical Writers.
