LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner with an approach to sustainability that is core to our business– and that is why we need you.
The Global Sustainability team works with internal and external stakeholders to guide the implementation of LEO Pharma’s Sustainability Strategy and improve our performance. Our 2030 Sustainability Strategy is built on two pillars: Enabling Health and Responsible Business.
Join us as Senior Sustainability Advisor in Global Sustainability where you will help drive transformation and contribute to developing a sustainability function recognized as a business value driver across LEO Pharma globally. You will report to the Global Director of Sustainability and be based at our headquarters in Ballerup.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will lead the implementation of the Enabling Health pillar of our corporate sustainability strategy. This includes managing the development of sustainability initiatives and the continued integration of the sustainability strategy across the business.
Your key tasks will be:
- Lead the continued integration and implementation of the LEO Pharma Enabling Health strategy across the business in alignment with corporate strategy. Manage partnerships in initiative implementation as relevant.
- Provide subject matter expertise to senior management across issues of access to health
- Monitor trends in health as a sustainability topic, including developments in ESG disclosure relevant to pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry. Define relevant KPIs and manage performance.
- Manage relationships with relevant internal stakeholders and facilitate a cross-enterprise steering committee on Enabling Health
- Provide insights and advice to key internal stakeholders, including relevant GLT areas - including supporting capability building on sustainability across the business with relevant stakeholders.
- Represent LEO Pharma with external stakeholders on relevant sustainability topics and continued trend analysis.
Your qualifications
We expect you to bring over 7 years’ work experience with sustainability in a corporate setting or consutancy. In addtion you:
- are experienced in the development and implementation of corporate sustainability strategies (in the healthcare sector a strong advantage)
- bring an understanding of the importance of driving impact, including setting KPIs and tracking performance of sustainability initatives
- have a good eye for identifying emerging sustainability themes and for positioning the company accordingly and know how to identify and execute actions to address themes
- possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English and are able to prepare concise and easy to understand materials that meets business interests as well as external stakeholder interests
- have proven project management skills, an ability to work systematically and in a dynamic environment, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, solution oriented mindset
- are an engaging and curious person with strong internpersonal skills, and have experience working in an international, diverse environment
- hold a Master’s Degree ideally within Business Sustainability/Social Sciences; or other relevant degree

Global Communication, Public Affairs & Sustainability is responsible for corporate branding, external and internal Communication, Public Affairs, and Sustainability. We are helping LEO Pharma achieve its mission of helping people achieve healthy skin by shaping its profile and engaging external stakeholders as well as employees.
The Global Sustainability team is a small dedicated team of specialists working across the business in driving LEO Pharma’s sustainability work globally. We keep a keen eye on future trends and help LEO Pharma and commit to operating in a way that contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
