At Ambu, we develop, manufacture, and sell medical devices used by millions of patients and healthcare professionals worldwide. Over the coming year we have set ambitious growth targets which has to go hand-in-hand with one of the four pillars in our strategy: Grow sustainably, for our people and our planet.
To support us in this journey, we are looking for an intern to assist in our ESG department. The internship will focus primarily in assisting the department with tasks within the field of environment and climate, but the right candidate will also be able to explore the areas of social and governance.
Key tasks
During the internship, your primary assignment will be to calculate Ambu Scope 3 carbon emissions. You will do this in close collaboration with colleagues in the ESG department. You will also work with:
Key competencies
You are currently studying on your masters or in the last part of your bachelors on a relevant program (e.g. engineering, climate science or other).
Where and when
You will become part of the ESG department located in Ballerup. We are constantly adjusting to the current Covid-19 situation, so work both at the office and at home can be expected. You will be provided with all necessary electronic equipment. The internship will have a duration of five months and start in February 2022, but if this is a problem due to the semester structure please let us know. The internship is fulltime and set to 37 hours per week.

- Collection and processing of internal and external environmental data
- Various sustainability projects in the organization
- Research on relevant topics and methodologies
Key competencies
- Knowledge in the field of carbon emissions, but in-depth knowledge about scope 3 carbon emissions is not a prerequisite.
- Interest in movement and trends in sustainability
- Analytical and structured way of working
- Flair for numbers and Excel
- Engaged, independent and resourceful
- Fluent in English both orally and in writing
