We are looking for a business project lead with experience from management consulting or similar experience and with a strong passion for creating structure and working in a collaborative environment. With direct reference to the Vice President of R&D Portfolio & Program Leadership and as the business lead in R&D Portfolio & Program Leadership you will have two main areas of responsibility:
1) Support the Vice President of R&D Portfolio & Program Leadership in driving the overall Portfolio & Program Leadership function including leading appointed strategic business projects.
2) Drive analysis and reporting of R&D performance and strategy in close interaction with the Vice President of R&D Portfolio & Program Leadership and the Head of R&D Business Excellence.
The work will provide you with high exposure across R&D at all levels and great opportunities to engage with key stakeholders across functions. Your main objective will be to act as cross-functional link between Portfolio & Program Lead-ership and R&D Business Excellence to support the successful execution of the R&D Strategy incl. analysis and reporting of R&D performance which is key in realizing our ambitious 2030 growth strategy.
The job
As the PPL business lead you will manage strategic business projects and support the Portfolio & Program Leadership team to deliver on set targets with point of departure in the R&D Strategic goals.
• Drive strategy execution and facilitation in the R&D PPL leadership team.
• Support the R&D leadership team in their efforts to drive change by conducting analysis and benchmarking activities, preparing documentation and reporting on strategic area goals.
• Ensure transparency, accuracy, and clarity on progress within the R&D Strategy and perfor-mance reporting to the executive management of LEO Pharma.
• Proactively manage and support the PPL leadership team in relation to strategy execution, busi-ness administration and management follow-up.
• Prepare documentation, presentations and business material for internal and external meetings and communication towards senior management and the LEO Pharma Board of Directors.
You will join a dedicated team that is founded on trust, respect, collaboration and knowledge sharing. The R&D Portfolio and Program Leadership function resides in Global Research and Development responsible for leading the R&D pipeline projects and LCM teams in alignment with the overall Project and Portfolio Governance in LEO Pharma. You will be based in our office in Ballerup but will interact with colleagues around the world.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with minimum 2-6 years of experience working within management con-sulting or inhouse project management/strategy/business development function, preferably with a back-ground from a global pharmaceutical company or a management consulting company.
As a person you have a strong drive and a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and on all lev-els of the organization. You demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and have a creative side for creating presentations. You have an analytic and structured approach but thrive in a dynamic environment. You are known for your open and positive mindset. Additionally, you are pro-active and take a joint responsibility for creating a motivating and fun atmosphere to work in.
