About the job – delivering compliant training processes and documentation


As Training Lead your overall objective is to support the operational excellence in Global Clinical Operations and Medical Sciences by providing training plans and guidance, onboarding new colleagues, and in collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation by developing compliant and efficient training processes and training sessions. In this role, you will be key in ensuring our training processes and documentation are GCP compliant, and at the same time, that our processes support a flexible and agile working environment with digitalisation and outsourcing on the agenda. You will be the owner of the GCP training processes including the Standard Operating Procedure.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Being the subject matter expert within training documentation and maintenance thereof
  • Create onboarding role-based training plans and provide support within the training process
  • Drive development and implementation of improved training setup and processes
  • Govern and maintain training processes and provide advice to support the stakeholders within Global Clinical Operations and Medical Sciences
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new colleagues globally in collaboration with managers
  • Being the owner of Clinical Operations Training Academy offering training in clinical processes and key documents
  • Ensure inspection readiness of training e.g. ensure adherence to training processes and documentation
  • Promote and nourish a quality mindset and learning culture by proactively facilitate and communicate lessons learned and best practices within training
  • Support operational excellence in clinical operations training through continuous stakeholder management and communication

About you – an experienced training lead


You are an experienced Training Lead or Competency Development Professional/Specialist. Ideally, you have at least five years’ hands-on working experience with training and communication within the clinical operations area and you know about GCP. You are an expert in virtual training setups and know how to get the best out of e.g. SharePoint and Teams to deliver great digital learning experiences. Furthermore, you can demonstrate solid experience driving and implementing training process and documentation optimizations in the pharmaceutical industry.

To succeed in the job, you use both your operational skills and your impact and pro-active can-do attitude, your excellent collaborator skills and supportive mindset to achieve long-lasting results. You are a team player focusing on identifying and developing targeted training sessions in the organisation and are at the same time comfortable working independently and not afraid of taking ownership and responsibility for the training processes and portfolio.

About Clinical Process Management – your new department


The position is anchored in Clinical Process Management, which is one of three departments in Clinical Operations Support within Global Clinical Operations. We strive to support our internal stakeholders with processes, training, and compliance to deliver high-quality clinical trials. The department consist of nine dedicated process and compliance specialists with high professional standards. The working atmosphere is busy, collegial, and informal, and as for the rest of LEO Pharma, innovation and optimisations are part of everything we do.
