The Graduate Programme
EG's Finance Graduate Programme is designed to build our Finance Talent pipeline for the future by offering a unique development journey for young finance profiles. In this programme, you will be able to experience 4 exciting jobs as you rotate to various Finance functions/Group functions as part of a graduate group of approx. 6-8 graduates. You will be based in one of our locations in either Ballerup, Aarhus or Ikast and should expect occasional travel to other EG locations during your rotations.
During the programme (approx. 18 months), you will work as a fully-fledged team member and be able to bring your knowledge into play to solve the various challenges faced in our business today. EG is undergoing a significant transformation with new systems and new processes, and you will be an instrumental part, by for example designing and driving the implementation of a new process, intEGrating acquired companies or professionalising existing processes and businesses.
You can expect rotations and tasks that are shaped in conjunction with what the business needs and what your competencies and interests are.

The programme also includes the possibility to be challenged within our Project Management Office, Specialized Finance and work with Corporate StratEGy.
The programme combines on-the-job training with a comprehensive onboarding programme and joint training sessions that give insight into specific financial topics, EG's business units, value chain, Product Management and much more.
REGardless of your journey, one thing is certain – you will face a steep learning curve, with a high dEGree of responsibility from day one.
You will work with inspiring colleagues, and we expect you to be able to easily adapt in a challenging and changing environment. Throughout the program, you will also continuously be in dialogue with your Host Manager and HR to plan your rotations and enhance your professional and personal development as much as possible.

The 1st round will be an interview on Teams where you will introduce yourself, solve a prepared case/task and you will have the opportunity to learn more about the graduate programme.
In the 2nd round, you will first be asked to complete a logic test followed by an interview with us.

- Operational Finance& Financial Controlling - where you will be part of the machine room, that creates the foundation for financial analysis.
- Group Procurement - where you will be exposed to nEGotiations and the cost of driving a business.
- Finance Business Partnering - where you will work closely with the business and create transparency around business decisions.
- Financial Planning & Analysis - where you will work extensively with data and learn how to present it to senior stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?
For the positions starting 1st September 2022, we are looking for these candidates:
- You are about to graduate with a master's dEGree (e.g. cand.merc.aud. or cand.merc Business Controlling) or in a relevant subject, for example, finance, economics, business administration, management accounting, or have graduated recently.
- You have a strong interest in pursuing your career in the Finance area (e.g. Business Controlling or Finance Business Partnering).
- You are fluent in English
- You are a strong team player, who enjoys working with new people and meeting new challenges.
- You are attracted by working at a stratEGic level but also enjoy performing down-to-earth tasks and you are not afraid to “get your hands dirty”.
- You have great analytical skills and a curious mind.
- It is preferable if you have worked with big datasets in Microsoft Excel but it is not a requirement.
