As an Asset Management Lead at Novo Nordisk, you will define, develop, and implement asset management processes, strategies, policies, and procedures. You will shape the area of effective management and utilization of IT assets. You’ll have professional support from people currently working with asset management, but you will be the one setting the direction and driving the area forward, supporting our growing organization and infrastructure area.
Your key accountabilities will include:
• Drive the asset management agenda in close collaboration with the Product Owner of Global Network Operations. Build and maintain relationships with network vendors, hardware suppliers and internally with cross functional teams to ensure efficient asset management.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of new IT assets or services. Guide and support you colleagues working with asset management and financial support.
• Manage and setup efficient Asset Management processes, ensuring we are on top of or assets and the full life cycle management, to begin with focusing on our hardware assets within the network space.
• Conduct controls of IT assets to ensure compliance with policies as well as maintain accurate records of IT assets, including their location, status, and usage. Provide regular reports on the status of IT assets to management and stakeholders.
• Own service agreements with suppliers and service providers, managing inventory and budget for service agreements. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management, network management, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of asset Management tools like ServiceNow
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in order to collaborate across areas and build partnerships with our vendors
• A critical thinker with good analytical skills in order to identify process and asset management improvement areas
• Proficiency in finance and other asset management tools
• Understanding WAN circuits, telecommunication services, and network infrastructure as well as experience in vendor management and contract negotiation is a plus. About the department
