Let’s talk about the role
As a Senior IT Architect for Citrix at Novo Nordisk, you will support life cycle management activities together with GITO-PI product teams, by providing technical and architectural guidance across the organization, setting the overall direction and ensuring alignment and implementation of governance and processes. At this role you will have a chance to drive technical innovation initiatives, optimize current standards and introducing new initiatives.
Your key responsibilities are: Design, define, build, and operate large-scale Citrix projects and implement Citrix infrastructure, providing a global network infrastructure for production Drive the Continuous Delivery Pipeline (CDP) execution and contribute to Agile Release Train (ART) events Foster built-in quality and technical agility, ensuring daily operations of Citrix for all PSnet domains globally Build a global roadmap for technology and processes, incorporating needs for local differences, and assist in building business cases, ROI analysis, and present project proposals at management meetings Contribute to daily operations (ServiceNow), collaboration and participation in coordination of tasks Which qualifications to bring?
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Experience in designing and operating large-scale Citrix projects, with a deep understanding of Citrix infrastructure (including managing, deploying Citrix for applications and experience in Physical and Virtual Desktop (VDI) environments, NetScaler, App-V and XenApp) Experience with Virtualization operational support(including trouble-shooting Citrix issues and Application/Windows Operating system issues), Citrix infrastructure patch management for multiple platforms supported by good understanding of operations domain area, and other IT technologies (e.g., covering networks, servers, platforms, applications, etc. High level technical certifications (Citrix, Virtualization, and Security Certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate - Networking (CCA-N), Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V), VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certifications, Cloud Certifications) required Extensive experience with successful project/product implementation, focused on CI, CD, and built-in quality (test driven development, automated test, etc.) In-depth understanding of the Agile mindset and culture, with a focus on reducing silos and enabling global collaboration. Experience with how to reduce silos and enable global collaboration
As a person you have ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues across the company and around the globe supported by excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In GITO-PI (Global IT Operations-Production Infrastructure) we are setting the direction of a global uniform IT infrastructure for the production in Novo Nordisk. We deliver compliant operations, effective IT security controls, and best-practice infrastructure standards. Our team looks after the definition, implementation, and maintenance of the Production IT network infrastructure (PSnet), which supports the manufacturing equipment and applications used in the production process. PSnet is a large network that connects and aligns all the Novo Nordisk production networks in a uniform and regulated approach.
