About the department The Global Information Security Advisory department is based in Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA and India. Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, Acquisitions & Integrations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance.
Global Information Security is partnering with the line of business across the value chain to build security into the business processes. This is done in collaboration with partner is other specialist in other areas including Enterprise Architects and Data Specialist. As security partners we engage to understand the direction and priorities in line of business to identify risks and manage these in collaboration with our stakeholders. We have security partners working in different parts of the value chain. This role is intended to focus on the areas of Research and Development.
The job As our new Senior Information Security Advisor, you will have the following key responsibilities: Drive Information Security partner journey in Product Supply. Together with your colleagues you identify focus areas, key priorities, stakeholders, and business owners. You engage with stakeholders, identify risks and business impact, define security deliverables, ensure buy-in and drive implementation Communicate plans, progress, impediments, and outcome to colleagues and stakeholders in Line of Business and Global Information Security Identify cross value chain risks, and instigate security initiates Drive or deliver on current and future security initiatives currently cloud security, application security, classification & data protection, and supply chain security Contribute on developing of our security framework and toolboxes At Novo Nordisk, your skills, dedication, and ambition help us change the way we strengthen Novo Nordisk's information Security posture to be ready for future business models. Candidate profile A Master’s degree in IT, data science, information security, or another relevant field A profound interests and experience in the field of information security. Preferable you have been working close with line of business At least five years of relevant experience in consulting, research and development, or a pharmaceutical organisation is preferred Demonstrated track record of setting up and managing complex projects and cross-organisational initiatives Proven ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders Ability to solve complex problems independently by getting to the core and clearly communicating scenarios, impacts and recommendations to the decision-makers Strong communication and presentation skills Travel is expected but limited. To be successful in this you need to have an outgoing personality, a strong personal drive, and go-get-them attitude. You need to be curious, and pragmatic while persistent to get delivered what you came for. It is also a requirement that the successful candidate can pass through a Tier-1 background check.
