We are looking for an IT Privacy Manager to join our IT Process & Privacy team in Digital, Data & IT at Novo Nordisk. What’s in it for you As an IT Privacy Manager, you will be part of a team that drive initiatives to develop and expand the maturity of IT privacy across Digital, Data & IT and [xxxxx] globally. Your role involves turning regulatory requirements into practices, defining action plans, and supporting their implementation in the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Advising on privacy policy and IT requirements.
  • Defining and executing privacy compliance initiatives.
  • Providing advice on Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
  • Supporting our network of local Data Privacy Responsible (DPRs).
  • Developing and providing training and awareness programs.
  • Contributing to global frameworks, policies, guidelines, and tools for compliance and privacy priorities.
    • Which competencies to bring While not all is required, it is advantageous if you:
  • Have a minimum of bachelor’s degree and 5+ years or a masters’ degree and 2+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Possess a solid understanding of and experience in GDPR, data protection, privacy and compliance.
  • Have a good grasp of system development, maintenance, or governance of IT in a large organization.
  • Are knowledgeable about privacy standards and frameworks, such as ISO27001/27701 and ISAE 3000.
  • Hold certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, and CIPT.
  • Are proficient in written and spoken English.
    • On a personal level, you are a great communicator, capable of easily relaying information between cross-functional departments and stakeholders, at all levels of the organisation. Additionally, you are proactive in supporting your colleagues, contributing to a good working atmosphere, and have demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly.
