FP&A Student Assistant

As our current student assistants will develop further in Nilfisk, we offer an opportunity to join us as an FP&A student assistant. You will join the FP&A team, where we are committed to deliver commercial insights and analysis to the Senior Management which in turn enables financial decision making based on a transparent foundation.
We focus on all aspects of managing a global company from a financial perspective. This is a student position; however, there could be a possibility for it to evolve into a permanent position once you finish your studies.
Collaborate internationally and cross-functionally
We analyze developments within e.g. P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, Working Capital, KPI’s etc. – so there will be rich opportunities for a steep learning curve.
The role will be anchored in Group FP&A reporting to the Director, Head of FP&A in the team. You will be based at the HQ of Nilfisk in Brøndby (Greater Copenhagen) and have the opportunity to work with colleagues across countries and functions.
The key aspects for this role will be to:
Proactive and high performing student willing to learn and make an impact
We imagine that you are either about to finalize your Bachelor’s degree or in the beginning of your Masters. Your study is relevant for the position e.g. HA at CBS (Almen, MAT or similar) or Cand.Merc (AUD, ASC, FIR or similar). You feel comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint and would like to become even more skilled.
Furthermore, you:
Experience with OneStream, SAP or Power BI is seen as an advantage but not a must.
You are expected to work in average 20 hours per week with busy periods around month-end/typically start of month.

- Deliver on regular and recurring tasks as a full member of the FP&A team
- Roll-forward monthly Excel tables and modify when needed - Linking to different Finance systems, such as OneStream, SAP and Power BI, which you will naturally get acquainted with.
- Ensure high data quality, maintenance and controlling hereof, Big data management.
- Assist on optimization of finance processes e.g. documentation and standardization
- Ad-hoc projects, such as working on pricing reports etc.
