The role of a HSE coordinator is to be a very important sparring partner for both our Operation Support department and our Client. The HSE coordinator will be a key player in improving the safety performance for our colleagues offshore.
The work place will mainly be in the office but occasionally offshore visits will be a part of the job.
Who are you?
You have a technical background within occupational safety, health or environment or similar. You are familiar with major accident hazards, key safety legislation/regulations and process safety management. You have safety coaching skills and know when to apply these to improve performance.
To succeed in this position, you need to have minimum 5 years practical experience within the execution and support of wider HSE/operation programs and initiatives. Besides, you must be a proficient all-level communicator.

Tasks:
- The HSE coordinator will work as a driver for a safe project execution, and contribute to increased safety awareness
- Daily interaction and communication flow regarding HSE execution and improvements with internal and external partners
- Communication of HSE initiatives with offshore personnel
- Close involvement with offshore personnel, the HSE coordinator will be able to continuously provide feedback on HSE initiatives, and spot new HSE solutions
- Communication and coordination of HSE initiatives according to approved HSE plan
- Coordinate the HSE work in close corporation with the client
- Reporting of HSE data and other project data on a monthly basis
- Participation in risk analysis and investigations
- Set up preventive activities on basis of data, input and other information
