Located at the Turbine Operations Centre in Esbjerg, DK, you will join a team consisting of six Operators all reporting to the Operations Centre Team Leader. The team’s responsibility is to coordinate resources to minimise the loss of production due to WTG breakdowns.
You and the other Operators will all rotate between day, evening and night shifts, and during your shift, you will lead the control and operation of the Turbine Operations Centre.
Ensure that our WTGs are up and running
During your shift, you will respond to internal and external stakeholders’ requests and coordinate resources to minimise losses due to WTG breakdowns. You will use your WTG experience to make judgements to balance lost production and protection of the WTG’s integrity.
You will also be responsible for:
Remote monitoring of offshore WTGs Support reactive operation of offshore WTGs Support to field operations via remote operation of WTGs Support to SCADA Support to HSE (e.g. during emergency situations) Support to power regulations and substation/grid maintenance Coordinate execution of ad-hoc STOP/START WTG requests Follow-up on SCADA events with Performance & Diagnostics Initiate root cause investigations
A WTG professional with sound judgement skills
You have experience with WTG trouble shooting You have good experience with SCADA tools at an advanced level You are a confident user of Microsoft Office applications You are flexible and willing to work night shifts
“It is of course important that you are an WTG trouble shooting expert, but it is just as important that you have very good interpersonal skills and are able to work closely with your colleagues and cooperate with people from all parts of the organisation. You will have a lot of data to work from, but in the end, it all comes down to your sound judgement,” concludes Steven.
