Manager, Conceptual Studies
Technically HV-experienced Manager who will be working with conceptual design studies within the offshore wind sector.
Your new company
The company have specialized themselves in offshore wind, oil & gas and power generation, where they deliver projects, solutions and manpower to the global energy sector. Their activities are currently in the offshore wind markets in Europe, Taiwan, and the USA. One will be expected to be involved in projects worldwide.
Your new role
As Manager, Conceptual Studies you will be responsible for pointing out the best electrical architecture based on CAPEX and OPEX optimization, availability, redundancy, safety, and O&M. The studies will typically cover the entire transmission system i.e. export and array cables layout plus onshore and offshore substations design and structure. Furthermore, you will be supporting the sales team with your technical expertise and joining meetings with clients.
What you ll need to succeed
This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 experience within HV and conceptual/feasibility studies. Additionally, you are fluent in English, both verbally and written, and you hold lead and sales experience from similar projects or industries. As a person, you are extrovert, trustworthy, and dedicated. Experience in the offshore wind industry or in the utility sector is considered a plus, but it is not a pre-requisite for this position.
