DLG Group is looking for a key analyst who will strengthen our strategic decision-making process through data driven analyses for our Trading units. Do you want to become a part of a diverse team in the DLG Group, which annually trades more than 15 million tons of grain and raw materials across international markets?
In this newly established position, the analyst will support the business with precise value-creating analyses es that can be translated into concrete actions and will therefore have a great impact on the trading result.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
You will, among other things, be involved in the following tasks:
You will have the opportunity to largely create your own tasks, depending on your interests and qualifications. You will work closely with the relevant stakeholders both internally and externally and will have access to the database and business systems of DLG Group.
ANALYTICAL PROFILE WITH INTEREST IN DATA ANALYSIS AND TRADING
Ideally, you have a relevant education at master's level, e.g. in agricultural economics, statistics, economics, M.Sc. merc, HD or similar. You have several years of experience with data analysis and trading, and experience with analysis of crops or feed. It is important that you are skilled in numbers and quantitative analyses, including economic impact calculations, and a super user of data analysis, Excel, Power Point, or similar systems. You have experience in working with a large amount of data. As a person, you work systematically and structured, and can work alone and in a group. You have good written and oral communication skills and can express yourself fluently in English (German is a second priority and Danish is very welcome). You are good in creating relationships and have a pragmatic approach and can convey complex contexts.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
You will, among other things, be involved in the following tasks:
- Carry out market research and analyses in a collaboration with traders in the DLG group (Denmark, Germany, and Sweden)
- Daily monitoring and analysis of weather data, climate, crop conditions, developments in the feed market and impact on the supply and demand
- Establish and maintain price data for selected raw materials, imports and exports, etc.
- Maintain Supply and Demand analyses (S&D) and data management related to S&D
- Prepare presentations for the team and as per customer requests
- Establish new methods for data collection and analysis within the organization
- Building and maintaining contacts with the industry and data owners
- Prepare sales and market analyzes based on data
- Develop the department's analytical tasks and process and analyze insights and generally make recommendations
- Coordinate and secures correspondence/requests flow with/from stakeholders
- Participate in the product team meetings, Trading Risk Committee, Conferences and Workshops
