On behalf of LogPoint in Copenhagen, Randstad is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Engineer to spearhead the development of critical cloud-based, data-intensive streaming solutions and services, used daily by LogPoint’s customers and partners worldwide.
This is an opportunity to join a growing company in the booming cybersecurity sector, where you will set the direction and lead the development of LogPoint’s most challenging and exciting initiatives – with amazing colleagues from multidisciplinary teams spanning cloud architects, software engineers and product managers. You will work closely with LogPoint’s engineering leadership and report to the Director of Engineering

You and the team are responsible for developing the next generation cloud version of the LogPoint SIEM, the SaaS edition of their core offering. The Data Platform is the foundation for the new cloud SIEM and makes a difference for customers around the globe as it helps detect and respond to real-time security incidents by ingesting millions of data per minute.
• Lead, motivate and coach engineers on challenging, business-critical initiatives, relying on your experience and best practises
• Set the technical direction for the engineering team and contribute to the solutions with architecture designs and hands-on development
• Continuously improve solutions, code base and practises
• Perform code reviews for and with your colleagues
• Work with product owners, other engineers and architects to refine new features and initiatives
• Enjoy tackling hard problems and coming up with solutions but know when to engage colleagues and relevant stakeholders for input or feedback
• Strive for high quality and standards of own and team’s deliverables and care to continuously improve
• Collaborative by nature and willing to mentor, coach and lead others
• Thrive in a dynamic and growing environment like LogPoint’s where high ambitions and great energy are found in every corner of the office
• 5+ years of professional software engineering and experience with AWS, Scala, Python, containers and data streaming or other data-intensive systems in production environments and ideally 2+ years as Lead Engineer or similar
• Been responsible for delivering critical parts of larger systems and able to collaborate to integrate your work to the team’s overall deliverable
• Experience with and knowledge about log management or search and information retrieval data structures, algorithms, and full-text search databases is an advantage
• Experience with cloud services, data streaming technologies and algorithms as well as container orchestration such as Kubernetes is a plus

Your day-to-day
