Rockwool Group Technology (GT) is where we create and deliver machines and production equipment as well as entire production lines for our international production sites.
Joining us at our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of the Process and Design (GTP) department which is a part of GT. Here you will head our Process and Quality Service (POP) section which consists of 15 talented colleagues spanning many different nationalities. Some are based in Denmark while others are based at locations in Germany, France and the UK, and together we make up the ROCKWOOL competence centre for manufacturing processes.

This knowledge isn’t something you can acquire through study, it’s learned where it is made – and we have some of the most senior profiles out there. So, you get manage one of our company’s greatest assets and help hone and make use of this unique pool of knowledge,” explains Marco Boi, Director of GTP.
As our new department manager, you will be responsible for managing the POP employees and their participation in various manufacturing process-related projects throughout GT. You will manage the team’s activities and prioritise and assign their tasks in alignment with the direction set by the GTP director. Also, in addition to managing the team, you will actively participate in consultancy tasks and projects. More specifically, your key tasks will be to:
• Define the needed competences and resources within the team and ensure that your employees are motivated, developed and trained as needed
• Support and collaborate with GD and other departments, supplying process resources and employees with the right competences for projects and activities
• Ensure that relevant information and learnings collected by the POP employees are shared with the director of GTP
• Ensure that relevant rules, guidelines and standards are followed
As a manager, you know how to nurture a shared team feeling and motivate your team. Managing specialists, it is also vital that you understand the importance of listening and know how to use your observational skills. Moreover, your technical understanding helps you assign the right specialist to the right task. Your interpersonal skills and ability to get messages clear across enable you to ensure that everyone understands the decisions you make, even if they do not agree. Lastly, we imagine that you:
• Have a technical background enabling you to hold your own when talking to your specialist employees
• Have experience from a similar position as a team leader or manager
• Have great stakeholder management skills
• Take pride in your communication skills and are fully proficient in English
You will be part of an absolute key group function that solves critical assignments across the globe. Moreover, you will get to lead an international group of professional experts who are highly independent, freeing you to focus on setting the right framework for utilising their abilities as you see fit. In addition, you can look forward to working very closely with the director of GTP who is always ready to discuss decisions with you.
