Summary
We are looking to strengthen our International Sales team with Export Activation Manager. Our team currently counts eight people, who are a part of the North American Branded and Rest of World division. They are responsible for international sales activities through external partners in Nordic countries, Middle East, Africa, South America, and Europe and they manage over 80 active export markets.
As our new Export Activation Manager, you will initiate & drive marketing and sales initiatives in one of the following regions: South America, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, or Nordic regions.
You will also be the global driver of a dedicated product category in the International Sales department. This involves a great variety of tasks and working with a multitude of people from both inside and outside the organization.
You will be reporting directly to one of our International Business Managers.
The position is based in our head office in Gentofte, Copenhagen and you should expect 20-25 travel days per year.

What can you expect in as an Export Activation Manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
- Initiate, develop, and implement commercial initiatives and new launches according to our Business Plan
- Ensure activities are aligned with relevant stakeholders (Distributors/Corporate Marketing/Supply Chain & Management) in the region
- Enhance data-driven decision making and structured approach in problem solving and project execution
- Pursue new business opportunities for STG in the region and screen potential new customers in close cooperation with the International Business Manager
- Drive the dedicated product portfolio and activation for all international sales regions
- Motivate distributors to give attention & priority to STG’s portfolio
- Ensure fast and smooth project execution and reduction of complexity within the organization and portfolio
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
- Ideally you have up to 2-3 years proven Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development experience
- You are a self-starter, who is comfortable working with both strategic and operational tasks, whilst following the timeline
- You are energised with strong stakeholder management
- You are commercially driven person who takes ownership from start to finish.
- You take pride in detail, you are dedicated and meticulous, whenever you take on a project or task
- You hold a Masters degree (or equivalent) in Business and preferably with an International focus
- You are fluent in English
